Karla Olšáková is a Czech jewelery designer. She is enjoying focusing on the architectural quality of her jewelery pieces. She usually expresses herself by means of geometric language combining kinetic variability and architectural principles.
Clean, discreet and refined, the core of her work is to explore the intimate poetry of jewellery. The range of materials includes wood, veneer, rubber and concrete; hence she finds the very strong expressive potential in these materials.
She studied K.OV studio (headed by Eva Eisler) at UMPRUM in Prague, where she successfully graduated in 2011. After that she_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_set up her jewelery label “Karla”, she has gained success with her bespoke jewelery pieces, collections and limited jewelery editions.
